Trainer and School Agreement

This Trainer and School Agreement supplements the WingVoyagers Terms & Conditions. It applies to trainers, instructors, coaches, guides, schools, school owners, and anyone using WingVoyagers to promote, organize, or manage instruction, guiding, coaching, student groups, or training events.

1) Independent Status

Trainers and schools are independent third parties. WingVoyagers is not a flight school, certifying body, employer, partner, agent, supervisor, or joint venturer of any trainer or school. WingVoyagers does not control instruction, flight decisions, student readiness, equipment, weather calls, location selection, or training operations.

2) Verification and Profiles

  • Verification is discretionary, informational, and based on information available or provided at a point in time.
  • Verification is not a license, certification, endorsement, warranty of competence, safety guarantee, or proof of current insurance.
  • You must provide accurate profile, credential, insurance, school, contact, and service information and promptly update anything that changes.
  • You must not imply that WingVoyagers certifies your skill, approves your curriculum, supervises your school, or guarantees student outcomes.

3) Required Trainer and School Standards

  • Maintain all required ratings, certifications, licenses, permits, site permissions, landowner permissions, and legal authority for the services you offer.
  • Maintain appropriate insurance for your activities, including general liability and professional or instructor liability where customary or required.
  • Teach, guide, tow, coach, or supervise only within your qualifications, scope of practice, equipment, conditions, and personal competence.
  • Use prudent safety practices, including student screening, pre-flight briefings, weather and airspace checks, equipment inspection, emergency planning, and reasonable instructor-to-student ratios.
  • Provide truthful statements about risk, training progression, expected costs, equipment needs, location rules, and student readiness.
  • Keep appropriate records of waivers, consents, incident reports, equipment checks, training sessions, and student communications where required or prudent.

4) Waivers, Minors, and Participants

  • You are responsible for obtaining participant waivers, medical acknowledgments, emergency contacts, and informed-risk disclosures appropriate for your activity.
  • You must obtain parental or guardian consent where minors are allowed by law and by your program.
  • You must not use WingVoyagers to solicit minors for training, messaging, events, or meetups unless you have a lawful, documented guardian-consent process.
  • WingVoyagers does not provide your waiver, approve your waiver, or guarantee that your waiver is enforceable.

5) Student Groups and Communications

  • Use student groups, invites, messages, and training tools only for lawful, relevant, and expected training-related purposes.
  • Do not spam students, misuse contact information, pressure users, or add people to groups without a legitimate training or school relationship.
  • Keep student personal information confidential and use it only as allowed by law, the Privacy Policy, and the purpose for which it was provided.
  • Report suspected abuse, fraud, safety issues, or unauthorized access involving students or groups to WingVoyagers promptly.

6) Events, Training Sessions, and Locations

  • You are responsible for permits, permissions, site rules, airspace compliance, staffing, emergency planning, weather decisions, equipment, and participant management.
  • You must ensure event details are accurate and update or cancel listings promptly when conditions, locations, timing, capacity, cost, or requirements change.
  • You must comply with the Event Host Waiver and Release when hosting or organizing WingVoyagers-listed activities.

7) Affiliate Links, Gear Recommendations, and Endorsements

  • If you receive commissions, referral fees, free products, discounts, sponsorships, or anything of value connected to a recommendation, you must make clear and conspicuous disclosures where required by law.
  • Your product, course, gear, school, and safety claims must be truthful, substantiated, and not misleading.
  • WingVoyagers does not endorse or guarantee your affiliate products, merchants, course materials, equipment, or recommendations.

8) Incident Reporting and Cooperation

You must cooperate with WingVoyagers when reports involve fraud, safety, trainer misrepresentation, insurance, credentials, student harm, illegal activity, or policy violations. We may request documentation, suspend badges or trainer tools, preserve evidence, contact third parties, notify affected users, or contact authorities where appropriate.

9) Trainer and School Indemnity

Trainers and schools agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WingVoyagers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from instruction, guiding, coaching, towing, training, student groups, events, waivers, equipment, locations, affiliate activity, misrepresentation, legal violations, negligence, or disputes with students, participants, landowners, authorities, or third parties.
