Event Host Waiver and Release

1) WingVoyagers Is Not the Event Operator

Unless WingVoyagers expressly states otherwise in writing, WingVoyagers is not the host, organizer, instructor, guide, operator, safety supervisor, medical provider, insurer, or security provider for events listed through the Services. Event hosts, organizers, trainers, schools, landowners, pilots, and attendees are independent third parties.

2) Host and Organizer Obligations

• Provide accurate, current event details, including location, time, costs, requirements, capacity, cancellation status, and host contact information.
• Obtain and maintain all permits, landowner permissions, site approvals, insurance, waivers, emergency plans, staffing, and legal authority required for the activity.
• Comply with airspace rules, local laws, site rules, safety standards, weather limitations, and applicable training or competition requirements.
• Screen participants, provide risk disclosures, obtain participant waivers and emergency contacts, and obtain parental or guardian consent where minors are allowed.
• Promptly update or cancel a listing if event details, hazards, weather, location access, instructor availability, or other material conditions change.

3) Participant Assumption of Risk

By attending, hosting, volunteering, instructing, flying, kiting, driving, camping, spectating, or participating in an event or group activity connected to WingVoyagers, you acknowledge that aviation sports and related activities are inherently dangerous. Risks include injury, death, property damage, equipment failure, weather, terrain, obstacles, airspace restrictions, pilot error, instructor error, organizer error, participant conduct, transportation, camping, local site hazards, and lack of emergency response. You voluntarily assume those risks to the maximum extent permitted by law.

4) Release of WingVoyagers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and discharge WingVoyagers, its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, partners, suppliers, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from or related to events, meetups, fly-ins, training sessions, group activities, travel, lodging, local transportation, instruction, flying, ground handling, equipment use, cancellations, disputes, injury, death, or property damage connected to the Services.

5) No Substitute for Host Waivers

This document protects WingVoyagers and supplements the general Terms. It is not a substitute for the host's own event waiver, training agreement, participant release, insurance review, or local legal compliance. Hosts remain responsible for their own waiver process and for checking whether additional jurisdiction-specific requirements apply.

6) Incident Reporting and Cooperation

Hosts, organizers, trainers, and participants must cooperate with WingVoyagers when an event report involves fraud, safety, injury, death, illegal activity, site access, landowner complaints, harassment, discrimination, insurance, credentials, or policy violations. We may request documentation, suspend listings or host tools, preserve evidence, notify affected users, or contact authorities where appropriate.

7) Host Indemnity

Hosts and organizers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WingVoyagers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from event planning, publication, hosting, instruction, participants, waivers, permits, insurance, site permissions, equipment, weather decisions, cancellations, refunds, injuries, deaths, property damage, legal violations, or disputes with attendees, landowners, authorities, or third parties.
