Model notes
How this read is built
Forecast data comes from Open-Meteo with a MET Norway fallback. Open-Meteo adds wind layers, gusts, CAPE, and shortwave radiation; MET Norway fallback may omit thermal fields. Treat this as a takeoff, climb, drift, and thermal-bump read. Because a paramotor launch heading can be chosen more freely, this tab weights rain, surface wind, gusts, and daytime bumpiness more than absolute wind direction. It still does not know your field obstacles, runway length, or local rotor.
