The published main LZ at 44.6371,-107.073 is private and historically carried standing open permission, but that permission is not a current landowner publication. - Confirm current Red Grade Road construction, closure, fire, and surface conditions before departure; FHWA lists the road project under construction from summer 2026 through summer 2027.
- Carpool and keep all vehicles fully off the active road. The source describes room for only about four vehicles without obstructing traffic.
- Before launch, reconfirm current permission for the private Big LZ at 44.6371,-107.073. If permission is valid, use gates and never climb or crush the livestock fence.
