Access notes
A current Omaha-area community report documents roughly two dozen pilots using changing open, flat, often new-build sites. The exact active field and access route are intentionally not represented here. Contact Nebraska Paramotor or the current Omaha-area pilot group before going anywhere; this generalized pin grants no land access.
Site rules
- Coordinate with the current Omaha-area pilots for the lawful field in use that day; do not navigate to or launch from this map pin.
- Use only a non-airport field with current lawful land access and remain outside airport property and the fixed WingVoyagers airport exclusion buffer.
- Recheck current airspace, NOTAMs, TFRs, weather, obstacles, construction activity, and the selected field's owner or operator rules before every flight.
Direction notes
No fixed field or launch heading is published; usable direction depends on the lawful ad hoc field selected by the current group.
Safety notes
- The documented ad hoc sites change as construction develops, so surface condition, wires, equipment, workers, spectators, and legal access can change without notice.
- The current community report describes pilots generally avoiding Omaha city limits; independently review current controlled airspace and congested-area constraints.
Additional notes
This row preserves a real, currently active PPG community without exposing a private field or pretending that a city-area centroid is a launch. The former Springfield Field of Dreams is not used as the pin because current evidence says that field was lost after the property changed ownership.
Map pin (general area)
The point is deliberately west of the Omaha urban core and represents the broad current Omaha-area PPG community, not any exact construction site, field, gate, or takeoff.
Navigation warning
General-area map pin only. Do not use it as a launch, field entrance, parking point, landing zone, or proof of permission; contact the current Omaha-area PPG group.
