Public state-park launch with standing requirements: current USHPA, at least $1 million liability coverage, Buffalo Mountain Flyers membership and waiver, annual visitor-center registration/release/checklist, daily visitor-center notification/sign-in, and a site guide for new visiting pilots.
Site rules
  • P3 minimum; a P3 flies with a P4 until completing ten separate site flights and five site hours.
  • PG maximum wind is 15 mph with maximum gust factor 5 mph.
  • Inspect the intended landing area before flight; Albright has no vehicle access and the normal glide offers no ordinary bailout.
  • Helmet, reserve, radio, and cellphone are required; site radio frequency is 151.925 MHz.
  • Nonmotorized paragliding only.
