Lagoon Valley/Peña Adobe is a shared public recreation area and unofficial flying/practice site. Pay the current park entry charge and confirm current PG/PPG procedures with Penguin Paragliding or local pilots before use.
Site rules
- Do not fly over the RC area, near horses, or low over the archery range.
- Share the park courteously with hikers, disc golfers, equestrians, archers, and other users.
- The official operator guide describes the field as useful for kiting in roughly 5-14 mph from any direction; the legacy flight record describes the hill as best in west-through-south flow.
- Powered use is documented by the current operator guide, but this general-area record does not identify a dedicated PPG takeoff or authorize independent operation.
