Approach only from Avenue S via the west-side Farina Drive dirt road described by the source. Never use the eastern subdivision road; doing so can jeopardize site access.
Site rules
  • Do not use the road through the housing subdivision.
  • Do not fly over the houses.
  • Use the marked main top area or another locally confirmed face and identify the appropriate PG landing option before launch.
  • Vehicle access becomes rough and steep; park below the steep grade if the vehicle is unsuitable and walk the remaining section.

Safety notes
  • The site sits in a pass venturi and is often too windy for paragliders during Santa Ana flow.
  • Launch wind can be substantially stronger than wind on the desert floor, with compression and strong winds aloft.
  • Daytime conditions can be windy and thermic; smoother evening glass-off conditions are documented but are not guaranteed.
